A NaNo ExcerptEdgerton was a moderately-sized city: it had all the irritating traits of a small town but was too big to be considered one. In a few weeks a quick study could learn where all the speed traps were, where to go to avoid the students, and which of the three all-purpose stores in town had the cheapest deals. As a general rule the city catered to the poor college student and the middle-class family – the economy wasn’t quite sure what to do with the lower-class single male who had neither the ambition for schooling nor the want for a family.
